Sell More - Use Coupons

Coupons have a variety of uses, from giving you a rebate on
services as time goes on, to getting money off your next purchase.
They've always been common offline but can also be used online to
great effect.


1 Maintain your sales. Giving regular coupons means you're enticing
buyers to return at a later date, say, for a discount on the next
product.

2 The coupon is a reminder too. So when they're thinking of where
to get that next product it makes them think of your website. Of
course, many people simply remember when they get the coupon that
they must use it at a later date. In effect, they've already
decided to use it.

3 Your system reminds them. When people enter your sales system,
they're asked if they have a coupon code. There's a place to enter
that coupon code. So, even if they've fogotten they have, your
system allows them to use it.

4 Repetition counts. The more customers use your coupons, the more
effect it will have. They identify your business as one that gives
extra offers and deals through their coupon use.

5 Coupons as time limited. You can increase the pressure of
scarcity by putting a time limit on the use of the coupon or that a
product is only available with a money-off coupon for a certain
period. For example, you could have a One Time Offer where a coupon
provides an even cheaper deal but only for the next 24 hours, or
until 100 products have sold.
